Reel Kingdom's offering to the genre of festive titles is Bigger Bass Blizzard: Christmas Catch. This is just typical of the type of gaming developer this company is, as it always caters to its audience first and foremost.

This 5x4 slot takes players on an icy, snowbound fishing trip. And it looks like it's on a recently formed lake, with fir trees swaying in the current. Here, combos of three or more matching on the 12 paylines and landing fish symbols, along with the Fisherman Wild in the Free Spins round, will award potential prizes. And these get bigger the further along the Collector trail the player gets.

The low pays remain 10 to A card ranks. The premiums start out with the tackle box and the float, untouched from the original. But the fishing rod and the boat have been given a wintery makeover, with the rod now disappearing into an ice-fishing hole, and the boat replaced by a fisherman on a jet ski. 

The fisherman holding up his catch and decked out in winter gear, woolly hat and all, is the Wild. He’ll stand in for regular symbols and show off his fishing skills in the Free Spins by landing the fish symbols. 

These land in with cash values of between 2x and 4,000x the total bet attached. In the base game, combinations of three and four award line wins, but landing five across a payline will payout the total of the cash amounts attached to the fish. 

The Scatter is a hooked fish leaping out of the water. This triggers the Free Spins with three or more, but if only to land, there's still hope, thanks to a random bonus feature I'll explain below. 

The first bonus feature can trigger at random in the base game when only two Scatters land. Then, there’s a chance a hook might drop down to haul another onto the grid, triggering the Free Spins. 

3, 4 or 5 Scatters on the grid trigger 10, 15 or 20 free spins, respectively. Here, the Fisherman Wild does his thing and hooks all the fish symbols on the reels whenever he lands, awarding their cash values to the player.  

He also moves the player along the Multiplier Trail above the grid. For every four wilds collected, the multiplier increases as follows:  x2, x3, y x10, and ten extra Free Spins are added to the round. Once the multiplier reaches x10, it can't get any higher, and no more Free Spins can be won in that round. The multiplier applies to the value of the fish symbols collected, not regular line wins.
